From Jan 27 - Feb 2, 2020, participating restaurants in Warrenton will offer special prix-fixe meals for lunch and dinner for $15, $25 and $35. Saturdays and Wednesdays mean GREAT FOOD at the Warrenton Farmers Market! Featuring all-locally grown and produced fruits, vegetables, poultry, pork, beef, eggs, pies, breads and more.
Join the market at its new location behind 21 Main St along 1st St on Saturdays and Wednesdays from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Parking is available behind the Post Office; entrance to parking lots are on N. 3rd St.

Beginning in May, stroll historic Main Street the first Friday evening of every month until October. Main Street will be closed and converted into a pedestrian park while shops remain open late with wine tastings, sales and special events. There will be music, artists, entertainment and dinner specials! Enjoy local food, live music and our Beer Garden! There are a variety of vendors and experiences for the whole family.

Admission is free for this one-day craft fair that draws people from around the region, rain or shine. Located on the edge of the Washington, DC, metropolitan area, Warrenton's historic Main Street transforms into a craft festival featuring more than 250 artisans and crafters, food vendors, and entertainers offering something to please everyone in the family.
Craft offerings include jewelry, handmade toys, photography and fine art, handcrafted items for the home and yard, pottery, hand bags, and personal accessories. Festival food includes hot dogs, hamburgers, barbeque chicken, crab cakes, fresh-squeezed lemonade, gyros, kettle corn, funnel cakes, steak and cheese, and shaved ice treats. Many vendors come from Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and West Virginia, but some come from as far away as New Hampshire, Florida, and Michigan to sell their wares at the festival.

Father's Day Car Show

The Father’s Day Car Show has become a family tradition for many in our area. Several thousand attendees come each year to see all the great cars and enjoy an outing with Dad. This is a great opportunity to enhance your business’s visibility with over 20,000 passionately engaged locals and visitors! As you may know this Car show has been traditionally sponsored by the Greater Warrenton County Chamber, beginning in 2018 the Car Show is now sponsored by the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Fauquier County. Our Fauquier Relay for Life movement has been in existence since 1994 and 100% of all proceeds will be donated to the fight against cancer though the American Cancer Society.

Summer Concerts on the Green
Saturday Evenings (Dates TBA) *May be impacted by COVID-19
Join friends and neighbors for the first in a seven-weekend series of concerts scheduled in Old Town Warrenton. The concert series will commence with the popular band Silver Tones Swing Band.
For families with young children, a family hour has been added beginning at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $5/ea or $4 for Friends of Allegro. Children 5 and under are free. Ticket cost includes family hour activities.

The Virginia Gold Cup has over the past century made steeplechasing one of the most prestigious sports in America. Former NSA President George Strawbridge calls the Gold Cup’s Great Meadow racecourse, “The crown jewel of American steeplechasing.” Nick Arundel said simply “what this generation and The Virginia Gold Cup is doing at Great Meadow is driven by harmony with its community, its traditions and its environment.”

This is a free family friendly community event that brings together neighbors, friends and local businesses. The event has live music, a family friendly kids zone, free swimming at the WARF, vendors and some local restaurants that you won't want to miss. Did we mention the amazing firework show at dark? Definitely an event not to be missed.
Gates open at 3 pm, and festivities start at 4 pm. Fireworks are after dusk.

Warrenton Ghost Tours
October 16, 17, 23 & 24th *May be impacted by COVID-19
Come out and enjoy an hour of ghostly tales as the Fauquier Historical Society’s costumed guides lead you through Old Town Warrenton. Tickets are $15 for adults/children over 12, and $5 for children under 12.
Tours are limited and sell out quickly so get your tickets early! Due to limited tour sizes all tickets are non-refundable.
* 6PM tours are specially designed for families with younger children and we strongly encourage families with children to sign up for these.
** All tours start at the Fauquier History Museum at the Old Jail, located at 10 Ashby Street Warrenton, VA 20186.
The Great Pumpkin Ride

The Great Pumpkin Ride is sponsored by the Fauquier Trails Coalition, a non-profit organization, and is a fundraiser for the construction of new trails throughout scenic Fauquier County. Registration is online only and the field is limited to 1,350 riders.

Halloween Parade HappyFest

In October, children are invited to walk Main Street dressed in their Halloween costumes. Following the parade, participating merchants will distribute candy to children.
Gingerbread House Competition

Old Town Warrenton is excited to present a festive Gingerbread House Competition. "House" is used loosely, any structure made of gingerbread can be entered. Completed entries are to be submitted as detailed.
Christmas Parade On Main St.

Come join the Town of Warrenton for the magical Christmas Parade down Main Street. There are twinkling lights, fire trucks, pups in costume, trumpets and drums playing the sounds of the holiday, elves with candy and fireworks!
Weekends beginning Saturday November 28, 2020 *May be impacted by COVID-19
Experience the splendor and tradition of Christmas in Old Town Warrenton with the award-winning Gum Drop Square and Santa’s Secret Shop, which will open early this year on Saturday Nov. 28. Santa will be on hand for photo-ops and hearing your wish list! (Take your own photo with Santa, donations gladly accepted). Children can shop for family gifts, with the help of happy elves, at the workshop! Santa will make his last appearance in Old Town on Friday December 18, 2020 before heading back to the North Pole.
Main Street will be closed to traffic on Fridays during GumDrop Square where Old Town merchants will be hosting entertainment, musicians and more!
